BOTTLE GUARD RAITA

DESCRIPTION: Bottle guard raita is a tasty and tummy friendly recipe which perfectly goes with quinoa ,rice and roti.


INGREDIENTS :

1  bowl curd

bottle guard (small size)

1/2 onion (Finely chopped)

2-3 green chilies 

1tbs jeera powder

                                                                                        

Ingredients  for  TEMPERING:

1tbs oil

1tbs chana dal                                              

1tbs urad dal

1tsp mustard seeds

1tsp hing

Few curry leaves

Salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.Add little water and salt to the chopped bottle guard and pressure cook for 2 whistles.



2.After releasing the pressure let them cool down completely.

3.Then add curd ,chopped onions, chopped green chillies, jeera powder and salt.



4.After adding all the ingredients give a quick mix .

5.Heat oil in a small pan for tempering. Once hot, add all the ingredients listed for TEMPERING .

6.Pour this tempering on the prepared curd mix.

7.Enjoy it with  hot quinoa /rice /roti.
